Who are we

We’re an unlikely mob of painters, jazz musicians, basketball players and barbers, brought together by a love of specialty coffee and all of the creative cultures in its orbit.

Founded in 2014, Minor Figures is a London-based coffee company selling to 25 countries. The company sells a range of ready-to-drink products including a nitro cold brew, a chai and a mocha. In 2018, and accompanying a brand refresh, it launched an oat milk which quickly starting flying off the shelves. In 2020, its white 1L Oat M*lk cartons became its best-selling product, and Minor Figures has (quite unintentionally) become more known for its milk alternative than its cold brew coffee.

Minor Figures has matured to a point where it has killer products, a strong identity, a passionate and talented team, an innovative NPD pipe, a small but significant market share, global distribution which is robust, multi-channel selling. We now have the opportunity to scale-up and become a company touching millions, perhaps billions of lives. We’re continuing to learn, grow, and extend our product range, with a focus on innovation and sustainability.

What’s it like to work at Minor Figures?

Our business is built on three pillars, these are core values, for which all decisions are made: quality, innovation, and sustainability. Quality, we work exclusively with specialty coffee producers who make some of the best coffee in the world. Innovation, we were first to launch Nitro cans in Europe. Sustainability, we are a Carbon Neutral Company (from July 2018), on our way to become a B-Corp, and pay our coffee farmers a premium above Fair Trade price.

We have a startup mentality, high creative energy for new ideas and doing things differently, and punching above our weight in the market. Ideas can come from anywhere and we encourage every voice to be heard and to not be afraid to take risks.

We have vegan lunches every day in the office where we take it in turns to cook for each other, creating a sense of family and a reminder of our core values on sustainability. We also have access to regular coaching sessions, coffee training, and have a day a year to go protest for the Climate.

“Our shop switched to Minor Figures a while ago and we haven’t looked back. Great guys to work with, great service and uninterrupted supply. To top it off this sh*t is the best alt milk on the market. Steams amazing, tastes nice and creamy, not too oaty, retains lots of great coffee flavours.”
